Overall, I have a multidisciplinary stance. I enjoy journalism and psychology. I try to observe, understand, and serve our world much better by utilizing and creating psychology, computer science, humanitarian sciences, and mathematics knowledge. I have been the managing director of the Xicheng branch of the Beijing Student Press Association since 2022. Though the strict censorship prohibited me and my fellow students from publishing these articles, I enjoyed having written several reports on different social issues or topics. Fortunately, I am also accepted by the Summer Academy of The School of New York Times: Term One: investigative journalism this year. I look forward to meeting and studying with the Pulitzer Prizes awardees and all fellow students worldwide.
I enjoy studying Psychology. Fortunately, I have been working with several respectful scientists: Prof. Dr. Tingshao Zhu from the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Guoxin Kang from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The essential thread of my work is to utilize psychology knowledge to expand the multidisciplinary horizon.
I have been working on two projects. The first is to investigate the impact of psychological factors in computer pandemic simulation.
I have been working on two projects. The first is to investigate the impact of psychological factors in computer pandemic simulation. I work on this project under the direction of Dr. Guoxin Kang.
Second, I investigate the impact of a spectrum of individual mental characteristics on how our society or organization allocates resources and services to each individual. My father, a computer science professor, inspired this work. When I pulled out from a mental crisis, he encouraged me to initiate this project to help myself and other fellow students suffering from different mental issues. I am recruiting other fellow students to join my project.
I will keep my mind open and ready to leap into an uncertain but fantastic future.
